Trailer Wiring Harness Installation - 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix

Today on our 2003 Pontiac Grand Prix, we'll be installing a new 4-pole flat connector, part number 18252. Next let's show you how to use your new 4-pole harness. We'll simply take it out of the spare tire well and route it out of the trunk. Be careful; stay away from the trunk latch as pinching it off in the latch can harm the wire. However, the trunk seal is thick enough that it won't, and we can simply close the rear trunk on it. Then we'll pull out the necessary length of wire needed to run down to our hitch or accessory. Once we're finished, we'll simply roll it up and store it down with spare tire. To begin our install, we'll first open up the rear trunk door. more
